Norditropin is a polypeptide hormone of recombinant DNA origin. The hormone is synthesized by a special strain of E. coli bacteria that has been modified
by the addition of a plasmid which carries the gene for human growth hormone. Norditropin contains the identical sequence of 191 amino acids constituting
the naturally occurring pituitary human growth hormone with a molecular weight of about 22,000 Daltons.
Indications and Usage:
1.Treat children with growth failure caused by growth hormone deficiency.
2.Help children who have short stature caused by Noonan Syndrome or Turner Syndrome
3.Help children of short stature who were born small for their gestational age and didn’t catch up in growth by age 2-4
4.Replace growth hormone in adults whose bodies don’t produce enough
All Norditropin® products must be refrigerated prior to first use. Do not freeze.
After initial use, Norditropin® pens can either be stored outside of the refrigerator (up to 77°F [25°C]) for use within 3 weeks,
or in the refrigerator (between 36°F and 46°F [2°C and 8°C]) for use within 4 weeks.
